Scroll Ice Cream

Scroll Ice Cream is Australia’s first cold plate ice creamery. Fortunately, we have one in the Adelaide CBD located on York Street! They’re ice cream is prepared in a very unique way as you can see in the photo.

They have a range of flavours on their menu including a Vegan and Gluten Free option. We ordered one of Ferrero Rocher and Oreo Serious which are normally $9, but were $7 as it was cheap Tuesday! For that great price, they give such generous servings! After ordering, you can watch your ice cream being made whilst the staff tells you a bit about the process which is always amusing and interesting. You could also take a seat and wait till they call your name. It is quite a small café so you don’t have to worry about not hearing their call.

The set-up of the café is stunning. The café is filled with a variety of vibrant colours and art on the walls and floor. Music is always being played and there are even games like Cards Against Humanity, UNO and Connect Four available! The overall environment is perfect for a fun/chill hangout. The only problem with scroll is that they do not have a restroom. Luckily, Hungry Jacks is nearby with toilets available!

Overall, lovely staff, amazing set-up and delicious ice cream!! This place definitely needs more recognition and I 100% recommend it.
