Argo
Location: 212 The Parade, Norwood SA 5067

Argo on the Parade/Square is a trendy and quick place for breakfast or lunch with a great atmosphere inside the café. They are definitely known for their trendy art around the café and the amazing food.
The menu provided at Argo is full of healthy choices and caters for different diet options such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc. I don’t usually like thick cut chips but the sweet potato wedges at Argo are so good, they are crispy and are good as a side with a wrap or burger. The hipster nachos are a must try, every though it is listed under ‘light meals’ it is for sure enough for a full lunch. I’ve had a smoothie bowl there once which was really good cool for summer but there was a bit too much for me to finish. My favourite drink is ‘Love Thy Lychee’ which is a combination of fresh watermelon and lychee juice, the drink is a bit too cold for winter but I find it extremely refreshing during summer.
Although the food there is quite pricey it is 100% worth it, probably because everything on their menu is made out of fresh ingredients. The menu is full of healthy diverse choices including vegan/vegetarian friendly and gluten free options! The presentation of the food and the set up of the café itself is definitely instagram worthy. From experience, I’ve had great service every time that I have been. I’ve only had to wait in line maybe once or twice since their Norwood Café is usually busy during school holidays. They also recently introduced a menu for dogs with dog freshly baked dog biscuits and puppachinos which is so extra but adorable.
Overall, I have enjoyed coming to this café with my friends for about 3 years! All the staff are friendly and the food is consistently amazing. I 100% recommend this café for locals of Adelaide that are around the Norwood or Victoria Square area you won’t regret it.
