Sidney highly recommended coming here for lunch, because she had been there a few times prior and said it was very good. I was a bit hesitant to try Vietnamese food that was not homemade; but this place did not disappoint.
The authentic Vietnamese food here is just amazing. I ordered the vegan pho and Sidney ordered a vegetarian bún bowl. In total, Sidney and I spent under $30 for both our meals including our $3 drinks, Vietnamese ice coffee and a coconut juice.
The food came out so quickly under 10 minutes! The vegan pho was so good!! They used mock/fake meat in substitute to the real meat, but it tasted just like a normal pho made out of beef stock. The bún bowl was made out of fresh ingredients. I had some of Sidney’s bún bowl and not going to lie, was probably one of the best. The serving sizes were very generous and highly worth the money that was spent. It was nice to see the self serve coriander and chilli as not everyone would prefer to have them in their bowl.
The cafe itself is a bit small but had good vibes throughout the restaurant. The staff there were lovey and made it feel very welcoming. It may be a bit hard getting a table during busy times but we didn’t have to wait very long. The locations are very convenient in the busy Adelaide CBD.
Overall highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick Vietnamese food fix, definitely my new go to place when I’m in town!
